FD450 (UHF) 2 way radio with headset modified for paragliding or hanggliding

Feidaxin FD4450 radio is ideal for pilots who prefer the full 5W power. The unit is well build rugged lightweight and reliable. It has all the essential features for use in the air. It is possible to reduce the transmitting power to 1W to save battery. TOT feature cuts off transmitting if PTT button gets stuck. Modified headset (for full-face helmet) enables pilot to transmit without taking hands off the controls by using a finger-mounted PTT button. The frequency range 410-480 MHz covers all 40 CB UHF channels  (99 programmable channels), communication can be filtered with CTCSS (50) or DCS (100) interference eliminator. The pushbuttons can be locked to prevent accidental operation. Duplex operation is also available. Scan feature can be used to search for available stations. Standby time is massive 120 hours. Antenna is interchangeable. The radio comes as standard with the above mentioned headset, Li-ion 1.200 mAh battery and a charger. CB channels both simplex and duplex are pre-programmed for your convenience as well as the CTCSS subchannels the most used in the Australian PG and HG community. For overseas travel: the radio also covers all the necessary frequencies for e.g. German CB radios as well as the radios typically used by paragliders in the 430Mhz range which is different from std. CB frequencies.
